Built out of frustration, kept running out of love
HealthCalculator started with a simple problem: every existing health calculator either required you to create an account, showed you intrusive ads, or quietly sent your data somewhere you didn't know about.
We decided the internet deserved better. A place where you could check your BMI, calculate your eGFR, or convert your height β instantly, privately, and without any strings attached.
We're just getting started, and every new calculator we release follows the same rule: your data stays yours.

Muhammad Hamza is a fitness enthusiast who built HealthCalculator after growing frustrated with health tools that demanded an email address, served intrusive ads, or quietly harvested personal data.
His goal was simple: create a suite of accurate, clinically-validated calculators that anyone in the world could use for free β instantly, privately, and without any strings attached. Every calculator on this site reflects that commitment.

How We Keep It Free
Free health tools usually come with a catch. Either you're watching ads between results, or your data is quietly paying the bill. We wanted neither, so there are no subscriptions, no premium tier, no sponsored results, and nothing to sell. We can't monetize your data, because we never collect it in the first place.
The short answer: a handful of lightweight calculators cost very little to run, and Muhammad covers the hosting himself. If that ever changes, you'll read about it on this page first.
How We Review Our Calculators
Every calculator on Health Calculator is medically reviewed before publishing. Our reviewer, Dr. Farah Taqueer (MBBS), verifies each formula, reference range, and result interpretation against current clinical guidelines from the CDC, WHO, NKF, and ADA.
Each page displays its reviewer and last review date, and we re-review whenever guidelines change β like our 2026 update to the race-free CKD-EPI equation in our GFR Calculator.
